Roses frozen in ice
The weather has been unusually warm for winter, so I have taken to trying something I learned from Kathleen Clemons photography online blog about freezing flowers. It’s been fun containing flowers in ice and seeing how their beauty still emanates within the ice. I have been freezing them in glass, plastic containers in the freezer, shooting through the containers then after removing the flowers from the containers.
It’s been a little tricky to get just the right composition but as they say practice, practice, practice. So I will keep trying until I get just the right look I am aiming for. In the meantime here are a few of my experiments.
I know snow is coming soon, so I will try making some of these floral images outside on the ice and snow.
This is fun and it keeps me busy during the Winter season waiting for Spring. 😊
Stay tuned for more views of my experiments.
